What a BLAST!! There were only 5 of us in the zodiac this morning. So DD, our guide from South Africa, went FAST towards the glacier.

We were lucky to see the glacier calving—when ice chunks fall off into the sea.

DD guided our zodiac into a narrow cave to find sea lions. Even though none were found, it was still a unique experience. DD said it was the first time he had attempted the maneuver.

The waterfalls on the mountains leading up to the glacier were spectacular!

As we headed back to the ship, we met up with two other zodiacs to enjoy champagne. One of our favorite crew members, Cali, from the Philippines, waived to us from one of the zodiacs; he was in charge of serving the champagne.

When we arrived back, it was time for lunch. We were greeted with an AMAZING cheese, wine and chocolate extravaganza!
